Roads will be closed for two different work projects in Henry County
Replacement of pavement on the East side of Big Creek bridge starting on Aug. 1 will result in the closure of Old Highway 34 for thru traffic starting at Big Creek bridge going east for approximately 900 feet. The work will take approximately three to four weeks, weather permitting.

Replacement of pavement on the East side of Big Creek bridge starting on Aug. 1 will result in the closure of Old Highway 34 for thru traffic starting at Big Creek bridge going east for approximately 900 feet. The work will take approximately three to four weeks, weather permitting.
In addition, the Henry County Engineer?s Office has announced a road closure for 260th Street on Aug. 1. 260th Street will be closed to thru traffic starting at Franklin Avenue and continuing west for two miles. The work will take approximately four to five weeks, weather permitting.
