Robert Leonard Roush, 85, of Keosauqua died at 4:40 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.
An open house Celebration of Life will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday at The Bonaparte Inn. The body has been donated to University of Iowa Department of Anatomy. Burial of cremains will be in Center Chapel Cemetery at a later date.

Robert Leonard Roush, 85, of Keosauqua died at 4:40 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.
An open house Celebration of Life will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday at The Bonaparte Inn. The body has been donated to University of Iowa Department of Anatomy. Burial of cremains will be in Center Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials to Center Chapel United Methodist Church technology fund or Van Buren Educational Foundation may be brought to the celebration or mailed to the family at 311 Oak St., Keosauqua 52565.
Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua is assisting the family.
Mr. Roush was born May 22, 1927, near Douds, the son of Ray and Elsie Claire Barker Roush. He married Kathryn ?Kay? Alene Walker Nov. 8, 1952, in Keosauqua.
He grew up in the Douds and Mount Sterling communities.
Survivors include his wife, Kay; four daughters, Deb Deming and spouse Craig of New Sharon, Diane Mohr and spouse Richard of Long Grove, Dixie Daugherty and spouse Ted of Mount Sterling and Dynnette Smith and spouse R.L. of Cantril; one son, Doug Roush of Eddyville; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Carl Roush of Keosauqua; and four sisters, Alice Groene of Annandale, Va., Hazel Jean Roush of Keosauqua, Mildred Hutchinson and Frances Roush, both of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Keith and Samuel Roush; three sisters, Beatrice Panting, Janice Judd and Louise Nichols; and one great-granddaughter.
