Rodney Nettleton

Rodney Nettleton, 62, of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday, July 30, 2015, at his home.

Nettleton?s wishes were to be directly cremated. There will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his memory. Nettleton was born Nov. 26, 1952, in Muscatine, the son of Clyde and Rosa Bell Nettleton. He was a graduate of Muscatine High School. Nettleton studied horticulture and worked as the property manager of the Waterfall Garden in Seattle, Wash., for many years. In more recent years, he was engaged in freelance property management.

Nettleton enjoyed reading, living life to its fullest and joking with friends and family. He also enjoyed his dogs, cooking and entertaining family and friends.

Nettleton is survived by his brother, Robert William (Patricia) Nettleton, of Rockport, Texas;

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
