Roger M. Elliott, 62, of West Point, died on Friday, July 29, 2016, at Great River Medical Center, in West Burlington.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, in Harrisburg Baptist Church, north of Bonaparte, with Rev. Mark Caston and Rev. David Glavin officiating. Burial will be in Vale Cemetery east of the church. Visitation will open at 2 p.m., on Thursday, with family present from 5 ...

Roger M. Elliott, 62, of West Point, died on Friday, July 29, 2016, at Great River Medical Center, in West Burlington.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, in Harrisburg Baptist Church, north of Bonaparte, with Rev. Mark Caston and Rev. David Glavin officiating. Burial will be in Vale Cemetery east of the church. Visitation will open at 2 p.m., on Thursday, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m., at Pedrick Funeral Home, in Keosauqua.
Gifts to a memorial to be designated later by the family may be left at the funeral home or church or mailed to the family at 2493 Henry Lee Street, West Point, Iowa 52656.
Elliott was born on March 12, 1954, in Keosauqua, the son of Philip H. and Irma Stecker Elliott. He married Lucy Burke on July 21, 1973, in Harrisburg Baptist Church. He graduated from Harmony High School and Southeastern Community College with a degree in auto mechanics. He assumed ownership of Elliott?s Service in Bonaparte in 2001.
He was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Elliot is survived by his wife; two sons, Gabe (Caroline) Elliott, of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and Spencer (Laura) Elliott, of Sonoma, Calif.; a daughter, Cassie (Brett) Stone, of Napa, Calif.; five grandchildren; his mother, Irma Elliott; and a sister, Karen Burwash, both of Bonaparte.
He was preceded in death by his father.
