Ronald Edmund Taglauer, 76, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at home.
A funeral is at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at Hope Lutheran Church in Germanville, with the Rev. Jordon Cooper officiating. Burial will be prior to the service at the Hope Lutheran Cemetary in Germanville.
Visitation for family and friends is 6-8 p.m. Friday at the church.
Memorials may be made to missions designated by the family. ...

Ronald Edmund Taglauer, 76, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at home.

Mr. Taglauer was born Aug. 8, 1937, the son of Edmund G. and E. Mildred Lynn Taglauer in Germanville. He married A. Nadine Guy Feb. 20, 1960, at Hope Lutheran Church in Germanville.
He lived in Fairfield and the Germanville area all his life.
He worked at Fairfield Engineering, Crane Valve in Washington, Iowa, Wayland Carpenter Shop and Taglauer Construction.
He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and Full Gospel Businessman?s Association.
He was in the Reserves for six months.
Survivors include his wife, A. Nadine Guy Taglauer; four sons; Mark Taglauer and spouse Laura of Brighton, Brian Taglauer and spouse Sherry of Fairfield, Matthew Taglauer and spouse Cheri of Fairfield and Marty Taglauer and Omar Leos of San Antonio, Texas; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two siblings, Richard L. Taglauer of Wayland and Karen Alderman of Iowa City.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
