Routine traffic stop leads to meth bust
NEW LONDON ? A routine traffic stop Monday evening for an alleged equipment violation led to drug charges against two men.
According to the New London Police Department, Billy Caton and Nicholas Camp, no age or address given on either subject, were arrested for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.

NEW LONDON ? A routine traffic stop Monday evening for an alleged equipment violation led to drug charges against two men.
According to the New London Police Department, Billy Caton and Nicholas Camp, no age or address given on either subject, were arrested for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.
During the stop at 10 p.m. yesterday, a K-9 drug dog assisted and allegedly, a meth lab was located in the vehicle. A search warrant then was executed on the 100 block of East Cleveland Street in New London.
The case is still under investigation and further charges are pending.
The New London Police Department was assisted by the Henry County Sheriff?s Office, the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, the Iowa Department of Narcotic Enforcement, the Iowa Drug Task Force and the Henry County Attorney?s Office.
