Runaway teen located, returned home
A 13-year-old runaway has been returned to Salem, according to the Henry County Sheriff?s office.
According to the sheriff?s office, they received a report Jan. 3 of the runaway.
The teen was located a couple days later near Kansas City, Mo., accompanied by Keith Lane Davis-Sauer, 19, of rural Ottumwa.

A 13-year-old runaway has been returned to Salem, according to the Henry County Sheriff?s office.
According to the sheriff?s office, they received a report Jan. 3 of the runaway.
The teen was located a couple days later near Kansas City, Mo., accompanied by Keith Lane Davis-Sauer, 19, of rural Ottumwa.
The child has been returned to Salem and Davis-Sauer was taken from the Platte County (Mo.) Jail and transported back to Henry County. He has been charged with harboring a runaway child, an aggravated misdemeanor.
Davis-Sauer already was a suspect in another investigation in Henry County. In addition to the aforementioned charge, he has been charged with two counts of third-degree sexual abuse, a class C felony.
Davis-Sauer is currently being held in the Henry County Jail on $26,500 bond.
The sheriff?s office has been working with the Wapello County Sheriff?s Office during both of the investigations.
