Ruth Maxine Humphrey Vandegriff, 86, of Fairfield, died Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.
A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Nate Nims officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Behner Funeral Home.

Ruth Maxine Humphrey Vandegriff, 86, of Fairfield, died Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

Mrs. Vandegriff was born April 9, 1925, in Davis County, the daughter of Elmer Harrison and Eula May Pearsall Humphrey. She married William ?Bill? Creighton Vandegriff May 25, 1942. He died Jan. 10, 2006.
Survivors include three children: Gloria Vandegriff-Honea and husband Brian of Garland, Texas, Neil Vandegriff and wife Trudy of Fairfield and Gayle Gilpin of Fairfield; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and three siblings: Doris Humphrey Walker of Redmond, Ore., Wayne Humphrey of Milton and Elizabeth Rysdam of Burlington, Wis.
