Salem hosts tire recycling program
Dick Meyers, the town public works employee, and former City Council member Warren Barton, help unload tires Saturday morning. ?County residents are allowed to recycle tires (at the main location at 900 W. Washington every Friday from 10-4, and Saturday mornings), commented Dan Patterson, mayor of Salem. ?The City Council agreed that we needed to help our town residents with recycling,? he said.
