A Salem man has been arrested and charged with two crimes against a child.
Roswell William Wixom Sr., 83, has been charged with lascivious acts with a child and two counts of indecent contact with a child, according to the Henry County Sheriff?s Office.

A Salem man has been arrested and charged with two crimes against a child.
Roswell William Wixom Sr., 83, has been charged with lascivious acts with a child and two counts of indecent contact with a child, according to the Henry County Sheriff?s Office.
Authorities said the arrest comes after receiving a report on July 11 of inappropriate contact with children in Salem. Following an investigation into the incident, Wixom Sr. was arrested.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
