Salem to host 'Camera and Canvas' fundraiser

SALEM ? A ?Camera and Canvas? fundraiser will be hosted at the Salem Crew Public Library as part of its annual silent auction during Old Settlers in Salem on Saturday, Aug. 29.

For those interested in submitting an entry, forms and guidelines can either be picked up at the library or you can contact Cheri Sanders at mommasanders56@gmail.com or (319) 470-1039.

Library hours are Monday thru Thursday 1-5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Deadline to submit entry forms and artwork is Saturday, August 1.

In addition to a silent auction for entries, there will be a Southeby?s style live auction for selected items and the public will be voting for a people?s choice award in each category. John Kuhens will be the auctioneer for the event.
