Salvation Army recovers stolen band instrument after spotting it online
WATERLOO (AP) ? The Salvation Army in Waterloo has recovered a stolen band instrument that was discovered online.
The euphonium had been taken from an instrument room.
Salvation Army Capt. Robert Whitney says he discovered what looked like the same instrument as he was scrolling through eBay.
A check of its serial number showed it was the same one.

Police were notified, and the horn was recovered and returned to the Salvation Army.
The horn had been taken by a man who frequented the Salvation Army building. He?d sold it to a music store, which put it up for sale online.
The man has been arrested on a theft charge.
