Schmitt named Van Buren fair queen

KEOSAUQUA – The Van Buren County Fair kicked off July 22 with the Queen, Junior Miss and Princess pageants at the Roberts Memorial Center in Keosauqua.
Logan Schmitt, Birmingham, daughter of Ron and Karin Schmitt, was selected the 2019 Van Buren County Fair Queen.
She will represent the county at the Iowa State Fair queen pageant Aug. 10.
Logan was sponsored by Keosauqua Sale Cafe and Country Roots Photography.
Erin Tedrow, Cantril, daughter of Brad and Allison Tedrow, was first runner-up. She was sponsored by Tedrow Custom Applications.
Chloe Teninty, Eldon, daughter of Tony and Carrie Teninty, was second runner-up. She was sponsored by Far View Acres.
The other contest winners crowned that night were: Lainee Thomas (Junior Princess), Katherine Johnson (Little Miss), Kennedy Warner (Junior Miss) and Jessica Goudy (Princess).
