Schmitz, Hanson to hold community meeting Saturday

To prepare for the upcoming 2010 legislative session, Sen. Becky Schmitz and Rep. Curt Hanson, both of Fairfield, are asking Jefferson County residents to share their ideas and concerns with them at a meeting at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at the Fairfield Public Library.

?The national economic recession means we?ve got some tough decisions ahead,? said Schmitz. ?My constituents? ideas and priorities will guide my decision-making, and I need their input now more than ever.?

?If you can?t make it on Saturday, you can always reach us by e-mail at call us at home,? said Hanson. ?The most important part of my job as your state representative is to listen.?
