Schubert, Sobaski, run at Wartburg Select track meet
Two former Trojans ran Saturday at the Wartburg Select college track meet in Waverly.

Two former Trojans ran Saturday at the Wartburg Select college track meet in Waverly.
Libbey Schubert, who now runs for Wartburg College, and Hannah Sobaski, who runs for Grand View University, both participated in multiple events at the meet.
Schubert?s 4x100-meter relay team took first place with the time of 48.05. Schubert runs the anchor leg of the race. The team is now ranked first in the nation in Division III. Schubert also ran the 400-meter dash and finished first with the time of 57.25. She is enjoying a high rank in that event as well, currently positioned in fourth place nationally. Wartburg College will be competing at the University of Miami this weekend, and Schubert will run the 200 and 400-meter dashes.
Sobaski ran on the Grand View University 4x400-meter relay team, which finished 13th overall with the time of 4:28.16. The former Trojan ran individually in the 800-meter run, coming in 21st place with the time of 2:38.87.
The Wartburg women won their home meet with 294.17 points. Grand View came in third with 98 points. Augustana College, University of Wisconsin Platteviile, University of Wisconsin River Falls, Loras College, Buena Vista University and the University of Dubuque all competed at the meet.
The Wartburg men?s team took home first place as well.
