Scribblers hold December meeting
Eleven Scribblers met for their December meeting at the de Brito Baking Bistro on the Mt. Pleasant Square.

After a festive Christmas dinner, President Betty Rae Geary conducted a business meeting.
Martha Wiley reported that she had met again with Harlan Lincoln House Archivist Lynn Ellsworth about preserving our club?s records. Ellsworth had presented the program in November. The suggested storage items were purchased.
Geary, Ann Porter and Claudia Streeter plan to meet in January to sort through club items to be stored.
The group was asked by Karie McAllister to judge New London student writings for their contest. More information will be given at a later date. This group did it a year ago at the February meeting.
Business meeting adjourned.
Annual Christmas letters were read by Marilyn Vincent, Claudia Streeter, Mary Kopsieker and Wuanita Hobbie. Gina Dexter read her writing about Friendship. Martha Wiley presented her book in which she did the text about the Union Block.
The Mt. Pleasant Chamber will be giving this to younger students. Illustrations were done by IWC students.
Rita Davis commented about her nursing training at a Mennonite College in Kansas. Karen Osborne read her untitled paper about this time of year. Porter read her writing ?Epitome of Nests.? Geary shared her piece, ?Bread Crumbs.?
