Seal coating begins on streets
Fairfield public works department recently finished prepping chip seal streets for new seal coating.
Because the process includes adding new gravel, conditions can become dusty during and after the prep process, public works director Bisgard said. This has prompted several complaints from residents. New seal coat began going down this week and the process should be completed fairly quickly, Bisgard said.
