A search warrant executed today at a house in Libertyville resulted in the arrest of 11 area men and women accused of conspiracy to manufacture more than 5 grams of methamphetamine, a Class B felony.
The Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office, Southeast Iowa Inter-Agency Drug Task Force, Jefferson County Police Reserves, Wapello County Sheriff?s Office and Iowa State Patrol Tactical Team executed a search warrant at 202 S. Main St. in Libertyville Thursday.
The warrant was the result of an investigation focused on numerous individuals involved in the manufacturing of meth.
Individuals arrested were:
Brian Keith Smith of 202 S. Main St., Libertyville; Beth Ann Blomgren, also of 202 S. Main St., Libertyville; Mervin Paul Heckethorn of 2174 265th St., Fairfield; Laura Lee Rowland, also of 2174 265th St., Fairfield; Kara Lynn Sanderson of 2467 Hemlock Ave., Libertyville; Jonathan Lee Rambo of 109 Jefferson St., Libertyville; Gregory Lee Nance of 203 N. Main St., Libertyville; Corey Walker Watsey of 405 E. Lowe Ave., Fairfield; David Roy White of 1504 Lone Oak Circle, Fairfield; Norman Robertson Jr. of 207 Third St., Batavia; and Kelsey Lynn Stewart, also of 207 Third St., Batavia.
The Fairfield Police Department and the Van Buren County Sheriff?s Office also assisted in the investigation.
Jefferson County Attorney Tim Dille issued a reminder that a criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
