Semi driver loses control; vehicle blocks eastbound traffic on Hwy 34 Tuesday

A single-vehicle semi accident blocked traffic driving eastbound on Highway 34 on Tuesday, June 25, around 8:08 p.m.
The driver of the vehicle, Yuriy Fishman, lost control while traveling westbound on Highway 34 east of the Westwood exit. Fishman crossed through the median into the eastbound lanes and the semi he was driving came to a rest on its side.
Fishman was issued a citation for Failure to Maintain Control.
The Henry County Sheriff's Office responded to the accident. They were assisted by Iowa State Patrol and Brueur's Towing.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
