Two state senators especially interested in economic growth got an early start by meeting Monday at the Iowa Statehouse. Senator Bill Dotzler, Waterloo, will chair of the Senate Economic Development Budget Subcommittee while Senator-Elect Rich Taylor, Mt. Pleasant, will be a member of the Senate Economic Growth Committee. The almost empty chamber of the Iowa Senate will be transformed when the 2013 session of the Iowa Legislature begins next Monday, Jan. 14.
