Vendors for the annual craft fair in Central Park, hosted in conjunction with the Midwest Old Threshers Reunion, began setting up their wares Tuesday morning. Shirley Fredrickson, Revere, Mo., hauls another box of glassware. Fredrickson said she started unpacking at 8 a.m. and has been a vendor at the show for 29 years.
Although the air did become warm Tuesday afternoon, it may be nothing like tomorrow. Temperatures for the first day of Old Threshers are expected to climb into the mid- to high-90s. Rain, possibly a couple of inches, is forecast for Saturday. The showers are an offshoot of Hurricane Isaac.
