Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office arrested Kody Lee Curtis, 22, of Salem, at 6:30 p.m. Friday at 2123 Osage Ave., on a warrant for fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Sheriff deputies responded to an accident at 1:33 p.m. Friday of a tractor-trailer rollover on Highway 34 just east of Batavia. Scott Edward of Grant, Ala., was driving east on Highway 34 near mile marker 205 and heard a loud bang, lost control of his semi, rolled it on its side on the highway and ended up in the south ditch. Edwards and a passenger were transported by Midwest Ambulance to Jefferson County Health Center. Assisting at the scene were Iowa State Patrol, Batavia Fire Department and Iowa Department of Transportation.
