Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office responded to a vehicle/deer accident at 7:39 a.m. Thursday. Phouvieng Xayavong was driving a 2004 Lexus SUV owned by the Noodle House, south on Pleasant Plain Road, about 0.04 mile south of Osage Avenue. He struck a deer in the road, swerved left and entered the east ditch. An estimated $2,500 in damages was done to the Lexus.
