Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office reports an accident at 2:13 p.m. Monday on Highway 34 at Exit 212. Two vehicles were driving west on highway. Ricky White, 57, was driving a semi trailer in the right lane. Mark Stephen Shaner, 60, was driving in the left lane. He told deputies he fell asleep or something, entered the right lane, striking White?s truck, causing damage to the passenger side of Shaner?s vehicle. ...

Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office reports an accident at 2:13 p.m. Monday on Highway 34 at Exit 212. Two vehicles were driving west on highway. Ricky White, 57, was driving a semi trailer in the right lane. Mark Stephen Shaner, 60, was driving in the left lane. He told deputies he fell asleep or something, entered the right lane, striking White?s truck, causing damage to the passenger side of Shaner?s vehicle. Shaner was cited for failure to maintain control.
