Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office received a report of a vehicle/deer accident at 6:35 a.m. Sunday. Ted Diers of Lockridge was driving a 2009 Ford Escape north on Vetch Boulevard, two-tenths of a mile south of 195th Street, when he struck a deer in the road. Estimated damages to his SUV are $3,500.

Julie Ann Polson, 36 of 302 W. Broadway Ave., Apt. 6, was arrested at 1200 W. Grimes Ave., at 12:15 a.m. Saturday from an incident at 11:06 p.m. Friday. She was charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense, violation of a restricted drivers license and failure to observe a stop or yield sign.
