Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office took a report at 5:25 p.m. Monday about theft of a motor vehicle from a farm north of Lockridge. A 4-door beige 2000 Buick Century Custom, estimated value of $1,000, was taken sometime between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 5 p.m. Monday. The car was located Monday in Coppock quarry owned by Douds Stone Inc., about six miles south of Washington.
