Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office received a report at 7:13 p.m. Friday about a Packwood resident who was the victim of a scam sometime between 8:19 a.m. Jan. 4 and 4 p.m. Friday. Victim cashed a fraudulent check mailed for goods sold and was charged an overdraft fee of $50.

A resident in the 2200 block of Glasgow Road reported at 3:12 p.m. Monday, mailbox and post were destroyed two or three weeks ago, probably along with others vandalized on New Year?s Day. Resident wants case prosecuted.
