The Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office arrested Gregory Thomas Lane, 26, of 505 W. Madison Ave., at 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of West Briggs Avenue. He was charged with OWI, first offense, and failure to have a valid license or permit to operate.

William Francy of Mount Pleasant reported at 1:10 p.m. Friday destruction/damage/vandalism to his property in Lockridge, estimated at an $11,000 loss. Bleach water was poured into the tank of his black, 2001 International tractor trailer.
