The Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office responded to an accident at 11:18 p.m. Saturday, 1 mile south of Fairfield on Libertyville Road. A 1966 Ford Mustang driven by Robert Parker Crist, 19, of Douds was westbound when it struck a deer. Estimated damages are $1,500 to the vehicle.
