Sometime between 8 a.m. Feb. 1, and 5 p.m. Feb. 22, items worth a $3,005 were taken from a farm in the 1700 block of 200 Street in Fairfield. Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office is investigating a burglary reported at 2:49 p.m. Thursday. Sometime between 8 a.m. Feb. 1, and 5 p.m. Feb. 22, items worth a $3,005 were taken from a farm in the 1700 block of 200 Street in Fairfield. Items missing include: tools, a gasoline can, four 25-foot log chain, one 50-foot log chain, a box containing approximately 40 files, a bench vise, a Stihl chainsaw MS 180 C, six forks off a loader, one gearbox/pulleys off a gleaner N7 combine.
Britny Nicole Jackson of Ottumwa was arrested at 9:05 p.m. Sunday for violating pre-trial release.
Sheriff deputies arrested Gary Michael Motykowski, 40, of Omaha, Neb., at 3:34 a.m. Sunday for operating while intoxicated, first offense.
