Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office received a report at 12:42 a.m. today about destruction/damage/vandalism of property and theft at Northeast Missouri Electrical Coop in Batavia. An estimated $39,300 in damage was done to a chain link fence and three voltage regulators and $150 worth of copper ground wire was stolen.

The sheriff?s office investigated on Thursday and at 8:39 p.m. Monday, arrested Adam Lynn Redding, 25, of Lockridge, in the 1200 block of West Burlington Avenue on a warrant for failure to comply with the sex offender registry.

Andrew David Phillips, 19, of Spirit Lake was arrested at 10:22 a.m. Monday at 1200 W. Grimes Ave., on a warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on assault causing injury.
