Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office reports a deer/vehicle accident at 10:01 p.m. Thursday. A 2004 Pontiac Grand Am was traveling west on Highway 34 when it struck a deer in the road about a half-mile west of Quince Avenue. The car had an estimated $3,000 in damages.
