Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office responded to the report at 5:38 a.m. today of a semi-trailer on it?s side in the highway median at Quince Avenue and Highway 34. James Campe, 32, with a valid Illinois license, was traveling west on Highway 34 when he lost control and went into the median. He was hauling office paper, which was scattered throughout the median. Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office responded to the report at 5:38 a.m. today of a semi-trailer on it?s side in the highway median at Quince Avenue and Highway 34. James Campe, 32, with a valid Illinois license, was traveling west on Highway 34 when he lost control and went into the median. He was hauling office paper, which was scattered throughout the median. The report said the driver was OK. The truck was towed and Campe was taken to Super 8 Hotel in Fairfield.
