The Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office arrested Larry Wayne Money at 3:35 a.m. today at 1200 W. Grimes Ave. for failure to appear.

The sheriff?s office responded to an accident at 1:26 p.m. Saturday in the 2600 block of Highway 1, Birmingham. According to the accident report, a 1997 Toyota 4Runner driven by Charles Leroy Courtright of Cantril was southbound when Courtright lost control due to weather and road surface conditions. The vehicle ran off the road to the left, struck an embankment and overturned. Estimated damages are $4,000 to the vehicle.

The sheriff?s office responded to an accident at 3:38 p.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of Highway 34. According to the accident report, a 2008 Nissan Rogue driven by Ryan Austin Dornbier of West Des Moines was westbound when Dornbier lost control due to weather and road surface conditions. The vehicle ran off the right side of the road, struck a guardrail and spun while traveling down the embankment. Estimated damages to the vehicle are $7,000.
