The Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office responded to an accident at 7:52 a.m. Sunday on Vetch Boulevard. According to the accident report, a 1993 Dodge Spirit driven by Alexander Richard Brobston of Lockridge was northbound when it entered the west ditch. Brobston was cited for failure to maintain control. Estimated damages are $1,500 to the vehicle.

The sheriff?s office responded to an accident at 4:53 p.m. Saturday on Highway 34. According to the accident report, a 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by Patricia Kay Tebockhorst, 61, 301 E. Fillmore Ave., was rear-ended by a 1998 Nissan Maxima driven by Miguel Angel Martinez Marron, 407 S. 14th St. Tebockhorst?s vehicle entered the median, and Marron?s vehicle continued down the road before entering the ditch. Marron was cited for failure to maintain control, no insurance, operating while intoxicated and driving without a valid license. Estimated damages are $3,000 to each vehicle.

David Roy Beebe, 25, of Washington, Iowa, was arrested at 3:57 p.m. Saturday in Brighton for failure to appear.

Jackie Lydolph reported a theft at 11:43 a.m. Friday at 2582 Highway 1. A cane corso mastiff, estimated $2,500 value, was stolen.
