Jefferson County Sheriff?s Department responded to an accident at 9:02 p.m. Monday at 1800 Pleasant Plain Road. Robert Larry Deutsch of 2401 145th St., was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox north and struck a deer in the road. His vehicle sustained functional damage to driver?s side headlight, front quarter panel and the driver?s side mirror, estimated at $1,500 in damages.
