The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office reports:
Wednesday
12:14 p.m. - Tristian James Roger Pohren, 22, of Lockridge, was driving westbound on US Highway 34 near Exit 214 when he lost control of the red 2005 Chevrolet Malibu and struck a cable barrier and went off the road. Damages were estimated at $1,800 to the vehicle and $200 to the Iowa Department of Transportation's cable barrier. Pohren was charged with failure to maintain control.
