Sheriff reports motorists ?Buckling up? in Henry County
On March 14, the Henry County Sheriff?s Office, in conjunction with the Iowa Governor?s Traffic Safety Bureau grant, conducted two seatbelt surveys.
One survey was conducted west of exit 229 on Highway 34 west of Mt. Pleasant and the other one was conducted north of Exit 45 on Highway 218/ US 27 north of Mt. Pleasant.
Both seatbelt surveys showed over 99 percent of Henry County motorists were using seatbelts.
