Sheriff warns Henry County residents of scam
A report of a suspicious letter received in the mail was investigated by the Henry County Sheriff?s Office Tuesday, Jan. 24.
The letter was sent from ?Crossramp Trust? of the United Kingdom. The letter stated that the recipient had won an overseas lottery of $250,000. It went on to request that the recipient call an international phone number to claim the winnings.
