Sheriff's deputies resolve complaint, dispute

The Henry County Sheriff?s Office responded to two complaints yesterday morning, July 20.

At approximately 3:30 a.m., the Sheriff?s Office received a harassment complaint from a mother who reported that her daughter was being harassed through text messages from an ex-boyfriend.

Deputies responded to the home in the 200 block of South Crew Street in Mt. Union to handle the complaint.

Investigation determined that it was actually the daughter who instigated the situation. Both parties agreed to leave the other alone.

Later, at about 8 a.m., the deputies were called out to the 2100 grid of Hickory Avenue for a verbal dispute. The deputies were able to assist the parties in conflict resolve the issue.
