Sheriff?s deputies step up traffic enforcement
The Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office will join with the governor?s safety bureau for a sTEP Wave Enforcement Program beginning Friday through Monday, St. Patrick?s Day.
Officers will be focusing on intoxicated drivers, seatbelt violations, speeding, suspended drivers, assisting motorists and any traffic violations.
