Sheriff’s Office, Police conduct search warrant Sunday evening

The Washington County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant Sunday night at 10:04 p.m. at 608 E. 2nd St.
Sean Ellington, of the Washington County Sheriff's Office, said it was 'in reference to a case from earlier in the day.” The department's call log shows a welfare check by the Washington Police Department at that address at 12:14 p.m. Sunday.
Ellington said he couldn't provide any further details as it's a pending investigation. City of Washington Chief of Police Jim Lester could not be reached for comment Monday morning.
