FAIRFIELD — Shokai Sushi has announced that it will move a block west from its current location in downtown Fairfield.
The restaurant stated on its Facebook page that its last day of operation at its current location at 101 W. Broadway Ave. will be Saturday, July 31. The restaurant will be closed all of August before reopening at 51 N. Second St. on Sept. 1. That location was most recently occupied by a restaurant called The Local, and earlier was Second Street Coffee House.
Before moving to its current location on West Broadway Avenue, Shokai Sushi inhabited a building on West Burlington Avenue that is now occupied by Asian Pho Bistro.
