Sign of spring
A sure sign of spring is the changing of the traffic light at the intersection of South Marion and West Washington streets (for swimming pool traffic).
On May 23, the flashing stop light at the intersection will be reverting to a traffic light until the swimming pool closes in August, according to the Mt. Pleasant Public Works Department.
