Single vehicle accident sends car airborne, driver sent to HCHC

A vehicle that struck a driveway and went airborne sent one to the Henry County Health Center Saturday night.

Upon further investigation, it was determined that Alan Temple, 28, of Winfield, was driving southbound on Racine Avenue at approximately 11:55 p.m. on Saturday, June 15. Temple's vehicle, a 2018 Chevy K1500, left the roadway and struck a driveway.

The vehicle went airborne and landed on the driver's side. Temple was removed from the vehicle via mechanical means and was transported to the Henry County Health Center. Responding to the scene were the Henry County Sheriff's office, the New London Police Department, New London Fire and Rescue, Iowa DNR and the Henry County Health Center.
