Snow Removal Reminder

Chief Ron Archer, with the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, wanted to remind residents to move their cars every 24 hours so snow removal operations can continue. Residents need to be clearing their sidewalks as soon as possible.
'We're issuing quite a few tickets,” Archer said. 'The street crews have a tough time getting to snow in the road.”
Archer also said that snowmobilers need to stick to the approved trail. The trail gives them access to food and fuel.
'They don't need to ride all over town, and I'd appreciate it if they stick to the trail that's been approved,” Archer said.
