After Wapello scored a couple early runs, the Warriors worked hard in the middle innings to recover. They tightened their defense against the bunt and found gaps in their turn at the plate to come from behind for a victory in the opener. Early strikeouts got the Warriors off to a slow start in the nightcap, however, and they dropped game two, unable to catch up a second time.
