Southeast Iowa Union offers new gift card marketplace

On Friday, the Southeast Iowa Union launched the Gift Card Marketplace, an online market where readers can purchase gift cards, many times at discounted prices.

The marketplace can be found at SoutheastIowaUnion.com/marketplace.

An example of the deals available Friday: Murphy's Bar and Grill in Riverside is offering a $50 gift card for $37.50.

The deals offered change frequently. Deals available today may not be there tomorrow when new giftcard deals could appear.

The process is easy.

' Go to the website.

' Search, select and purchase the gift card online.

' Pick up the gift card at the store.

Some of the merchants, in addition to Murphy's, that have signed up to offer gift cards through the marketplace are Laundro Mutt, Fairfield Flower and More, Archer Appliance, Pizza Ranch, The Village, Vintage Raven, Washington Lumber, Etc., Orsheln, Fareway, Hy-Vee and Magic Nails.
