Speaker scheduled for teachers? welcome

Jamie Vollmer of Fairfield, an education speaker and author of ?Schools Can?t Do It Alone,? will take part in Fairfield Community School District?s teachers? welcome back Friday at Fairfield High School.

?Jamie?s work embodies what I have really been working hard to achieve for our school district, a tight partnership with the community,? said Superintendent Art Sathoff.

Vollmer will speak to Fairfield teachers from 9:25-10:40 a.m. in the high school Commons.

At 11 a.m. Vollmer will meet with available district administrators and school board members in FHS Media Center for about 45 minutes. The public is invited.

Vollmer will then attend Rotary Club with Sathoff and lunch at the country club, where Vollmer will speak at Rotary and visit with business and industry leaders.

From 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. Vollmer will visit with district support staff at the Administrative/Curriculum/Technology Center.
