On Saturday, May 11, carriers from the Washington Post Office collected 3,840 pounds of food and $360 in donations for the food pantry at the Church of God during their annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive. The carriers would like to thank all of the carriers and volunteers that helped all day because without their participation, they wouldn't be able to make this happen for the Washington community. Additionally, they would like to thank all of the businesses that donated food, beverages and transportation of the food to the church.
